The project in a nutshell

VISTA aims to make vocational education and training (VET) more accessible and digitally inclusive for visually impaired learners. The project was created to help bridge the gap between education and employment by combining inclusive teaching approaches, assistive technologies, and AI-powered tools supporting both learning and career guidance.
The project focuses on strengthening accessibility within VET systems while supporting the employability and autonomy of visually impaired learners through innovative and practical solutions. At the same time, VISTA promotes stronger cooperation between education providers, employers, and local stakeholders in order to create more sustainable and inclusive pathways into the labour market.
VISTA aims to contribute to:
- improved accessibility and digital inclusion within vocational education and training;
- strengthened competences of educators and trainers in inclusive teaching methodologies;
- increased employability and autonomy of visually impaired learners through accessible and personalised career guidance;
- stronger collaboration between VET institutions and employers to support inclusive employment opportunities and long-term systemic change.
Outputs of the project
The project foresees the development of several practical tools and resources supporting inclusive and accessible vocational education, including:
