Newsletter Autumn 2020

Dear Members, Partners and readers,

Summer’s finished and the Covid19 is still affecting our lives. We hope you could have some holidays and enjoy, even within this particular situation. As usual, we strongly invite you to respect all necessary rules in order to avoid the spread of this virus: we can continue enjoy our daily life with some precautions.

With the beginning of autumn, it’s time for us to start again our activities like every year. For the current newsletter we prepared for you four articles.

VIEWS News Spring Edition 2019

Dear members, readers and partners,

While spring time approaches, the days get longer and the clocks have moved to summer time Views International has another Newsletter for you.

In this Edition we will give you an update on our projects or the project of our partners in the Views announcements, report on the 2nd dinner in the dark 2019 and read an other experience reports from one of our European Volunteers.

Now, when February approaches its end and the carnival festivities reach their Climax it is time for the Views – News of February.
The 1st “article” of this edition consists in a row of general news on Views International and the world of disabilities.

We hope you all made a good start into 2019 and although the first month is
now already over Views International wishes you once again a happy 2019.

This months’ edition is dominated by two different topics. The first
article concerns the newly created World Braille Day. The second article
informs you on what will generally change in the European youth work from
2019. The last article for this months’ newsletter is a press release from

Christmas is approaching in big steps. And if you need something to do in between the years, just read our Newsletter – this time extra-long and extra informative!
In the beginning of this edition we would like to give a very warm welcome to Valentina from Italy, who is the third volunteer for Views International and has started her work at “la baraca” since the mid-November.

Dear members, partners and readers,

We hope you are fine even though it gets darker and colder outside.
In the beginning of this Views News we would like to give a friendly welcome to our new volunteers Adela from Romania and Sophia from Germany. Both girls began their EVS project on the 1st of October 2018. During their time in Liège Adela supports the IRHOV school, while Sophia works in Views Office. We wish both our volunteers good luck and a brilliant EVS experience.

First, let us take this opportunity to extend our best wishes to Nicolas Gérimont, who has finished working in the office in view of taking his career in a new and exciting direction. It was a pleasure to work with Nicolas and we thank him for all of his work during his time at VIEWS and we wish him the best for the future.

We would like to inform you or remind you that our annual General Assembly will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on the 22nd of September 2018.
On the agenda, for this newsletter, we have five articles.
A first article will report on the Music Key project which took place in Greece.

Dear members, partners and readers,

Welcome to the latest addition of the VIEWS newsletter.

Things have been pretty busy at the office recently; soon our EVS volunteers who we host here in Liege will be finishing their projects, but it won’t be long until the next intake of volunteers will arrive.

Naturally with this transition comes a lot of preparation. You will find an article about the Advanced Planning Visits (APV’s) that took place for our future volunteers in this newsletter.
