VIEWS News October 2015

Dear Members, Partners and readers,

We are pleased to come with a new issue of this News Letter. Our new project year has started, our volunteers have arrived and Rosaria joined our team.
In this issue we propose you to read a report from our General Assembly, to see what happened at the youth exchange in Vraca, Bulgaria, get up to date about our Strategic Partnership project, we will also introduce you Value the Difference, a project that we joined and last but not least we have a new channel of communication.

EVS 2015-2016

As we announced in one of our last issues our EVS project was accepted. Last month they had their visit and now they are here.
We wish all of them a lot of success in their projects and a nice stay in Belgium, their hosting country.
In the upcoming issues of your VIEWS News you will get the opportunity to get to know each of them and their respective projects. But have a little bit of patience. They need time to get to know first their new environment.

General Assembly 2015 in Berlin Germany

We promised you in our last issue to come with fresh news about the general assembly. It was a great opportunity to meet again and discuss and prepare new projects. Of course there were some changes too. Are you curious? That’s wonderful Read then here Anna Rita will give you an update. You will know everything.

Eyes to SEE

It happened last month and apparently from what we heared it was wonderful. Do you believe it? read it then. All about the Youth Exchange organised by our subscribing partner from the point of view of Youssri one of the Belgian participants.

Strategic Partnership

Finally after such a longue time we’ve got from our National Agency the needed details to start this project. A first skype meeting took place this beginning of October and now it is known when the first transnational activity will take place. Would you like to know more about this project? Read here more

Value the Difference

Babilon Travel from £Romania invited our organisation to take part to a project organised by them in partnership with a Polish organisation. It is a project that involves visually impaired persons and we accepted to join them. At the beginning of November the first activity, a training, will take place in Cluj Napoca Romania. Find here more about the project and be sure that in the next issue you will learn more about the training. Do not miss it.

VIEWS International on Twitter

And yes it is true. From the beginning of October we are on Twitter.
At the proposal of our members we opened a Twitter account.
You can now follow us at any time @VIEWSIntl. With this new extra channel of communication we hope to better make us visible and everyone who needs us can find us.

Call for articles

Have you got something interesting to let us know? Maybe a project, a useful peace of information for blind and partially sighted persons, a useful application or assistive technology to present? Then the VIEWS NEWS can help to spread it around. Send your articles at newsletter@viewsinternational.eu or to office@viewsinternational.eu before the 15th of each month. You can also use our mailing list for questions or our Facebook page. Our calendar is also available with the newest events that will take place. These info channels are yours so do not hesitate to use them.
Would you like to read about other topics in your newsletter. Do not hesitate to let us know. We will try to do our best to answer your request. The same channels are available to do it.

But we will come back with news from the Romanian training, from our first transnational meeting in Liège Belgium and many other things that we give you the pleasure to discover by yourself next month.
