Dear VIEWS International members, partners, well-wishers and website visitors,

Finally it's May, the weather gets better and we start into the 5th month of the year with this year's 4th newsletter issue, presenting the 3rd EVS volunteer for 2014-2015, reporting about 2 youth exchanges and last but not least 1 upcoming event. Take some minutes, sit back, have fun and enjoy reading the nice articles that we got 4 you.

But give us just one more second to let you know that all our application forms for funding requests were well handed in on time. About the results of the selection we will of course let you know as soon as we know something. Now let’s cross our fingers for good news.

Over Cross View on our differences? That's what Martinique's exchange was like

In our last VIEWS News publications we reported on the preparations for a youth exchange in Martinique. This finally took place in April. We would also like to let you know what it was like - through the eyes of Fabian Buton, who took part as one of Belgium's group leaders and wrote an entertaining and lively article.

Part III: European Voluntary Service 2014-2015

She is number three for this year! In November 2014 Badia from Italy arrived to experience her EVS project. She is working for IHROV, the specialized school for disabled people in Liège. Her article will present herself and her project, but it also shows you the positive aspects of an EVS and the barriers she has to overcome in Liège's daily life.

Wanna get musicted?

As some of you might already know; during the last weeks we were searching for partners for a youth exchange prepared by DBSV Germany in collaboration with VIEWS International. This one is called "Musicted Europe", will take place in August 2015 in the Northern-German city Hannover and will be about music and singing as well as beeing creative and connected through music. Have you ever dreamed about singing with lots of other Europeans and producing own songs with others and experts?

"May" we stop now?

For May and it's episode of the VIEWS News everything is said now, but we are already preparing June's articles. As always, we will present our projects,. On the other site, we really want to present everything that you would like to tell our readers. Have you got something interesting to let us know? Maybe a project, a useful peace of information for blind and partially sighted persons, a useful application or assistive technology to present? Then the VIEWS NEWS will help to spread it around. We are waiting for your contributions and we are looking forward to help you sharing your information through the VIEWS News June 2015. Send your articles to or to before the 8th of June.
