VIEWS News December 2015

Dear Members, Partners and readers,

In Belgium, after some colder days at the beginning of the month, we have still very mild temperatures. So not really Christmas weather, but all the nice decorations on the streets, in the shops and now in our houses, it helps to feel that Christmas approaches very fast.

In views International many things happened as you will further read. We have a new Manager Assistant, we are preparing the Youth exchange with Martinique that takes place in between old and new year and the rest of our projects are continuing. So sit comfortably and enjoy your newsletter.

New Manager Assistant

Lori left the office beginning of December and Angelique took over her work.
We thank you Lori for your work at the office and we are warmly welcoming Angelique. We wish her a lot of success in her work. Some of you have already met her, she is doing the daily living with our EVS volunteers since a few years but she will introduce herself in the next issue.
Lori will continue to support with the newsletter and website. Read here Lori’s testimony about the work done at VIEWS International

Value the Difference Youth Exchange

This is the next step of the the project “Value the Difference” A training has already been held in Romania in November 2015. Now it is time to apply what ten youth leaders have learned. What will be their challenges? What it is about? Find here some info about the Youth Exchange.

Season’s Greetings

Dear members and friends,
Again a year has passed. We can say for our association it was a good year. We have organised many nice projects:
Hosted 6 european volunteers
Organised a nice project on Adapted Games,
Went to Martinique, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary for exchanges,
Participated to trainings in Italy and Romania
Started our strategic partner ship Project about employment of persons with vision impairment
Yes almost all our wishes from last year have come true. That was possible because you, members partners, volunteers were there to support and actively participate. Thank you really very much.

For the next year we hope to continue to count on all of you. And we strongly wish to go ahead with nice and useful projects for our target group.
We wish all of you success in your projects those with us, and those without. We wish you a very nice holiday where you can enjoy your time and get energy for the next year.
And the most important we wish you health, personal fulfilment for the coming New Year.

This was your last issue for 2015. As network coordinator our wish is to continue to inform you regularly. So hopefully next year you can get monthly your newsletter.
